Dr. Ajith Fernando is an internationally recognized Christian leader, teacher and Bible expositor. He was called the Billy Graham of Sri Lanka, Dr. Fernando have served Sri Lanka with all his heart for many years and anchored various ministries focused strictly on perfecting the authenticity of Word of God.

Scholar for Christ
Dr. Ajith Fernando, ThM, DD, is national director of Youth for Christ since 1976 in Sri Lanka and a Bible expositor with a worldwide ministry.
Studied at Asbury Theological Seminary and Fuller Seminary, Dr. Fernando is a lecturer in Colombo Theological Seminary and Lanka Bible College and visiting lecturer at Tyndale Seminary (Canada) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (US).
Dr. Fernando also is the vice Chairman of South Asia Graduate School of Theology.
Author and expositor
Dr. Fernando has authored 11 books, found in 13 languages, including:
The Supremacy of Christ; NIV Application Commentary on Acts; Sharing the Truth in Love; Jesus Driven Ministry, and processing a preaching commentary on Deuteronomy.
His books have been studied in major Christian schools worldwide including The Master's college (www.masters.edu).
He's also a principle translator of the New Sinhala Bible by IBS.
Commitment to Ministry
His ministry includes mentoring staff and volunteers, counseling leaders, and supervising YFC’s drug rehabilitation ministry in Sri Lanka. He is a visiting Bible teacher at various theological seminaries in Asia-Pacific and North America.
Golden Word Award
Dr. Fernando is a recent recipient of the Golden Word Award. Past winners of the Golden Word include
Billy Graham, John Stott, Joni Earickson-Tada, and Chuck Swindoll.
Avid Speaker
Dr. Fernando is a traveling speaker in many churches, seminars and leadership conferences worldwide, including Amsterdam 2000 and Urbana Convention.
