Misson of The Sri Lankan Christian Society of North America
A) Glorify God by representing our Faith through our actions and deeds (James 2:20).
B) Represent the Body of Christ worldwide in all possible ways (John 10:16).
C) Promote unity among the Christian denominations, churches and organizations.
Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:13)
Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.

D) Promote the authenticity, purity and the absolute truth of Christianity (Tit 1:9)
E) To attend to the needs of Spiritual growth of all Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

F) Use our spiritual gift(s) for the common good of all (1 Cor 12:7)
G) Give voluntarily support and share resources with fellow believers so they may benefit others.

H) Promote various Christian ministries, churches, missions, fellowships and individuals who are involved in social and spiritual responsibilities within communities.
I) Communicate in political and social issues that are effecting the spiritual growth, social justice and Holy scriptural establishment. SLSC is strictly a non-political group, exists only to promote ultimate spiritual well being of fellow Sri Lankans.
J) Give preference to the needs of Christian brothers and sisters in according to support and edify each other.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
